• Provide technical advice and support to tendering and awarded projects Managers in relation to flow assurance issues

• Performing steady state and transient thermal and hydraulic analysis for awarded projects
• Simulation of subsea pipeline operation using industry standard software such as OLGA, PIPESIM, HYSYS, etc
• Perform cold spot management studies with finite element analysis tools
• Provide and check flow assurance data as input to other engineering discipline studies
• Assist coating engineers to develop insulation material specifications
• Provide technical input into subsea operating philosophies and procedures

5. QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor degree or equivalent International qualification
or
Diploma/Higher National or Qualification
A minimum of 5 years experience working in the Oil and Gas industry with a demonstrated record of technical achievement in relevant project roles. Preference for deepwater field operation experience.
Flow assurance, process or chemical engineering background with at least 3 to 5 years experience of performing steady state and transient analysis studies with OLGA software. Experience with specialised modules such FEMTherm, slug tracking, compositional tracking preferred.
Job requirements include:
• Experience with subsea production, water and gas injection systems
• Knowledge of interfaces with topsides process systems
• Use and knowledge of industry and oil company standards
• Knowledge of insulation materials and systems
• Working knowledge of other software such as PVTSIM, HYSYS, PRO-II, PIPESIM and PIPENET
• Understanding of FEA or CFD software for thermal analysis studies
