Oil & gas recruitment: Two pipeline contracts secured by Dodsal

United Arab Emirates engineering company Dodsal has won gas pipeline construction contracts amounting to $160 million (£98.4 million).

The first contract will involve the company replacing a 100 km pipeline that runs between Abu Dhabi Gas Industries northeastbased Thamma C production plant to its field located in the south, Pipelines International reported.

It will make up a part of a larger $1 billion project to raise production capacity at fields including Asab and Bu Hasa.

Construction of a 45 km nitrogen pipeline between Mirfa and Habshan will take place in the second engineering, procurement and construction contract.

The pipeline will link up Mirfa in west Abu Dhabi to the oil field based in Habshan in the south.

Dodsal is a Dubaibased multinational group which operates in areas such as engineering and construction, infrastructure development and trading activities.
