A new Petroleos Mexicanos (Pemex) pipeline has been announced, in emerging oil and gas recruitment news.
The firm has awarded a construction contract worth $13.9 million (£8.5 million) to United Pipeline de Mexico, a joint venture with Instituform Mexico.
It is expected that the latters subsidiary businesses Corrpro Companies and Bayou Companies will undertake some of the work, including installation of a cathodic protection system prefabrication services for skidmounted equipment, respectively.
Dorwin Hawn, vicepresident of United Pipeline Systems for Instituform, commented: "By contracting this work simultaneously with the associated pipeline construction and rehabilitation activities, this additional project allows Pemex to benefit from improved economies of scale."
This follows a similar contract that was signed last month between the firms worth some $12.4 million.
