Two contracts have been awarded to Saipem which will involve the company providing tiebacks for the Kizomba Satellites development, those looking at oil and gas recruitment may be interested to discover. The project, which is based at water depths between 1,000 and 1,200 metres, will use the company to work on connecting Mavacola and Clochas Fields to Kizomba A and B. It will be carried out in 2011 and involve the engineering, construction, transport and installation of pipelines, those looking at oil and gas recruitment for the scheme may be interested to discover.
Saipem has been awarded the lump sum turnkey contracts by ESSO Exploration Angola, with the companys Ambriz and Soyo yards carrying out fabrication work. In other news, ConocoPhillips and Saudi Aramco have signed a deal with KBR to provide utilities packages, interconnecting systems and pipe racks for the Yanbu Export Refinery Project. The joint venture is currently undergoing its construction, procurement and engineering tending process.
