A heads of agreement deal has been signed for liquefied natural gas (LNG) from the Fishermans Landing project, those looking at oil and gas recruitment in the Gladstone region may be interested to discover. Golar LNG and the Toyota Tsucho Corp have made the arrangement, which will see the former take 1.5 million tonnes a year between 2014 and 2026, the Oil and Gas Journal reports. It is now seeking to buy a minority equity stake in the project, which is one of the smallest of the five schemes being planned for the area, those looking at oil and gas recruitment may be interested to discover.
Enough gas has been produced for the first train and site preparation has commenced, with submissions for frontend engineering and design having been made. In other news, three sale and purchase agreements have been signed for a share in the Gorgon projects LNG, which could provide opportunities for those looking at oil and gas recruitment.
