Oil and gas recruitment: JP Kenny signs construction management deal

Published on Tuesday 29th September 2009

A threeyear contract has been signed by JP Kenny to provide construction management and procurement support services for a pipeline project, those looking at oil and gas recruitment may be interested to discover.

It has already supplied detailed designs for ACS Cobra Castor UTE and will now be working for a block valve station, a control umbilical, subsea isolation valve and protection structure.

The John Wood Group signed the deal, which will expect JP Kenny to contribute an estimated 72,000 manhours, which could create oil and gas recruitment opportunities.

David Baker, JP Kenny London managing director, states his firm is "delighted" to have won the contract.

He asserts: "This project demonstrates our expertise in project management, as well as design, and reinforces our significant portfolio of major infrastructure projects."

In other news, the John Wood Group recently announced that it is to provide offshore services and followon engineering for StatoilHydros Perogrino project.ADNFCR2586ID19378635ADNFCR
