Saudi Aramco, the national oil company of Saudi Arabia, has announced that more than 400 wells were prepared before the Khurais project came online, those looking at oil and gas recruitment may be interested to discover.
The Southern Area Production Engineering and Production Service Departments have been responsible for 58 observation, 119 water injectors and 232 oilproducing wells.
It highlights obtaining site engineering support for the installation of six submersible pump installations as one of the hardest challenges in the process, which could interest those considering oil and gas recruitment.
As part of the project, multiple reservoir access wells used multilateral tools combined with temperature sensors the first time Saudi Aramco has distributed this technology.
The Khurais project has an output of 1.2 million barrels per day and, as part of the stimulation campaign, the organisation’s two departments coated an area of 160 kilometres with 12 million gallons of fluid.
