| Description | Objective
The Commissioning Electrical is responsible for Manage commissioning activities related to Electrical Systems, Earthing / Cathodic protection / Lighting & Sockets, Solar Panels and Power Generation, Electrical Distribution. On the context of Block 2 Single Central Platform (Phase I), part of GEP project.
Know, understand and comply with SCP commissioning plan, and in particular work in accordance with safe practices, correct use of personnel protective equipment, make safety as part of everyday job, teach safety to new employees.
Ensure compliance with the project specifications is achieved. Manage hand over to operation of systems assigned and clearance of Electrical punch lists for all systems.
Responsibilities
The Commissioning Electrical is responsible for:
· Review of the Pre-commissioning Dossiers and preliminary checks of the facilities to establish completion of conformity checks/static tests on all electrical equipment and preparation of punch lists for pending items to achieve Pre-commissioning.
· Review of requirements for temporary equipment to facilitate Commissioning/Start-Up activities.
· Responsible of witnessing critical electrical pre-commissioning activities.
· Responsible for implementation and comments of OTP’s
· Review of start-up procedures.
· Responsible for the identification and mobilization of electrical materials required for the Operational Tests. Supervise Commissioning/Start-Up activities of electrical items/systems.
· Responsible for the Electrical Diagrams conformity checks.
· Assist planning Commissioning Leader to establish Commissioning/Start-Up network priorities and durations.
· Perform follow up of Electrical punch list.
· Pro active in punch list clearance process.
· To ensure all handover requirements are anticipated and that final handover of facilities is achieved without any delay
The Commissioning Electrical reports to the Commissioning Leader
Competencies
Senior commissioning engineer with 10 years experience in commissioning, start-up and maintenance activities and familiar with OPERCOM methodology. Fluent in English with previous experience in Angola.
Will need to show leadership and add value to the contributions of the members of the Project community as well as good communication skills.
